SHIPS-2 was the guide book for U.S. Navy Camouflage systems and measures.  Each book describes, in detail, camouflage measures, paint colors, and application for that period of time.  There were 4 major releases for SHIPS-2:

SHIPS-2 January 1941 (The first release of SHIPS-2 

SHIPS-2 September 1941 (Revision 1 to the first SHIPS-2)

SHIPS-2 June 1942 (Revision 2 to the first SHIPS-2)

SHIPS-2 March 1943 (Supplement  to Revision 2 of SHIPS-2)
